Querencia
Website Redesign + interactive map
role: Lead UX/UI Designer
Querencia is a luxury residential community in Cabo known for its exclusive lifestyle. As part of a small team of experience designers, I contributed to a full rebuild of their WordPress website, and lead UI/UX designer for an interactive map now featured on a touchscreen display in the community clubhouse. The map highlights neighborhood hotspots, beach club features, and clubhouse amenities to help guests easily explore the property.

The challenge
Querencia’s old website failed to capture the lifestyle and offerings of the community, especially for its older residents, who often didn’t realize the full extent of amenities or how to easily navigate the property. The brand needed a digital facelift that not only reflected the luxury of the neighborhood but also served as a functional tool to support wayfinding and encourage exploration among prospective buyers.
The solution
Our team led a full redesign of the website, beginning with extensive research into resident needs and client goals. We organized custom photoshoots to better reflect the environment and experiences Querencia offers, then used that photography to inform new WordPress modules built around intuitive content delivery. To support in-person navigation, we also designed and developed an interactive community map, built specifically with older users in mind, which now lives on a touchscreen in the clubhouse. This map is helping guests today to discover amenities, neighborhood highlights, and points of interest across the property.
